Avaya Voicemail Pro Contact Store License
The Avaya IP Office Contact Store License (referred to as "ContactStore" or Comcode 187166) already has a recording capability built in. Recordings can be initiated by a user pressing a button on their phone or automatically by the system. Any recording is currently stored within a defined voicemail box. (Supported on the IP400 and IP500 platforms and requires VoiceMail Pro RFA)
Avaya IP Office Contact Store License also means assemble, compresses and stores recordings (Utilizes a browser-based call search and replay application) made using the VMPro's recording capabilities (ContactStore requires no proprietary hardware and runs on industry standard PC servers). It offers a simple-to-use yet powerful search and retrieval interface that enables users to exploit the voice recording capabilities of Avaya IP Office system (consists of a PC server - normally the same server on which user run VoiceMail Pro “VMPro” which Stores/Catalogs VMPro recordings in a database).
*The server also supports an optional DVD+RW drive for archival of recordings (ContactStore server runs on Windows 2000, Windows 2003 or Windows XP).
Note: Thus, system will automatically generate alarms showing system warnings. Alarms are logged to IP OfficeContactStore's database and held for a month before being purged (Administrator can define specific Email addresses for alarms to be automatically forwarded to). The email recipient could be a local system administrator, a manned help-desk and/or suppliers' support desks if users have a support agreement that includes this facility (it sends an email once per day as a "heartbeat" to let users know it is still operating - the system sends an email message each time an alarm occurs or is cleared).
