With its longstanding partnership with the North American Aerospace Defense Commander or NORAD, Avaya has been powering the annual event of tracking Santa Claus and catering to children all around the world who are inquiring about Santa’s whereabouts in the eve of Christmas.

NORAD Tracks Santa Program has been going on for 60 consecutive years and every year, around 1,500 volunteers take part in answering the Avaya-powered hotline- 1 877 HI-NORAD.

These volunteers use the Avaya Government Solutions, to be specific Avaya Customer Engagement Solution, once a year in order to effectively accommodate the high amount of calls from kids.

The technology that volunteers and NORAD use every Christmas is the same that Avaya Government Solutions use for important missions. It has even been meticulously tested by Department of Defense Joint Interoperability Test Command or JITC.
