Avaya Powers Foundation for Steel ORCA’s Software-defined Data Center of the Next Generation

Avaya ventures more and more to cloud-related services. Now, the company used the Avaya Fabric Networking technology to support the cloud-delivered services of the Steel ORCA.

The use of the Avaya Fabric Networking technology sets the foundation for the rollout of the Avaya SDN Fx Architecture, which reduces complexity and cloud service delivery costs. This is only the start of the strategic relationship between Avaya and Steel ORCA. These alliance is expected to be the foundation of the software-defined data center of the next generation.

Will be opened this year, ORCA’s Digital Utility Center will use Avaya Fabric Connect as its system, making it one of the U.S.’s most advanced and state-of-the-art data centers. The utility center can:

• Manage services and cloud solutions on a global basis
• Meet complex demands of delivering global cloud services
