The IPO 3rd Party 10 Endpoints License  (174958), allows 3rd party IP end points for 10 End-Points license on an IP Office system or 10 additional end points (These licenses come in increments of 1, 5, 10, 20 and 50 and are used to connect non-Avaya SIP or IP “H.323” devices - compatible with IP412 and IP500).

*Avaya 4600 Series hardphones also do not require this license key and iPhone Manager Pro (IP Office IPSoft-Phone - enabled separately by IPPRO RFA - Adds 10 third party end points) therefore; IP Endpoint License is used for support of non-Avaya IP phones including SIP extensions.

Using the Reserve 3rd Party IP Endpoint License setting, the available licenses can reserved for a particular phone in the each IP extension (the available licenses are used in order of phone registration - no licenses are available the phone will not be able to register) or all Avaya IP phones (including DECT and Wi-Fi phones) require an Avaya IP Endpoint license and will consume one instance of that license.

Note: Avaya IP Softphone Release 4 “R4” (a CTI/TAPI enabled client-based telephony application for the PC or laptop) provides access to Avaya DEFINITY software (R9.5 and R10) and Avaya Communication Manager Software station features (except call center agent features). It provides productivity features, such as, easy-to-use graphical user interfaces and access to Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) compatible databases. Avaya iClarity IP Audio, Avaya's Voice-over-IP (VoIP) audio engine, is integrated in the application to provide superior audio performance for the Road Warrior (Voice over IP) configuration. The major enhancements in this release include the ability to control Avaya IP Telephones and survivability against Denial of Service (Dos) attacks. The major enhancements provided in the latest Service Pack include multi-lingual support and the Picture of Phone view for the 2420 terminal.
