SAMSUNG Electronics to Hold Its Developer Event at the 2014 Mobile World Congress

SAMSUNG Electronics did not just attend the 2014 Mobile World Congress to showcase the company’s products. The company also held its Developer Event inside another event!

Considered as the mobile industry’s largest exhibition event in the world, the Mobile World Congress or MWC transpired from February 24 to 27, 2014. And SAMSUNG Developer Day happened on the third day of the event, February 26, 2015, at the App Planet, the center of the app business and engagement of the Mobile World Congress.

Been taking place at the Mobile World Congress since 2011, SAMSUNG Developer Day highlighted updates for applications as well as introductions. For the year 2014, the company showcased the following:

• Upgraded Samsung Mobile SDK
• Samsung MultiScreen SDK
• Samsung MultiScreen Gaming Platform

First time to be specifically set up for the event, SAMSUNG’s Software Development Kit upgrade was introduced in the event, together with other applications used by the company’s partners which make use of SAMSUNG SDK.

The 2014 SAMSUNG Developer Day also included several programs. One of which is the SAMSUNG Smart App Challenge for Galaxy S4 award ceremony. The app development game was held the previous year.

It also featured VisionMobile CEO’s presentation about 2014 trends on mobile app development as the results of a survey including over 7,000 mobile developers, the largest survey aver concluded about the topic.

Though the event could be limited to the partners specifically invited to attend, it could also be open to other MWC visitors depending on the circumstances.
