Polycom announces new video collaboration solutions which are interoperable with Microsoft Lync 2013. This includes the Polycom® CX5500 and CX5100 Unified Conference Stations, as well as new updates and extensions. 

Polycom, Inc. announced its newest Microsoft Lync-cooperated video collaboration solutions. Considered as the very first 360-degree, 1080p HD and panoramic video solutions, Polycom® CX5500 and CX5100 Unified Conference Stations are both designed to provide all participants in the video with a cutting-edge around-the-table experience. Polycom-Microsoft Lync Collaboration Projects

Some of the Lync-qualified Polycom products announced are the following Business Media Phones:

  • Polycom® VVX® 300
  • Polycom® VVX® 310
  • Polycom® VVX® 400
  • Polycom® VVX® 410

In addition to this, the company also announced the availability of the Polycom UC Software v 5.0, an update for Polycom VVX Business Media Phones in Lync environments. The software improve specific call management features, including:

  • Call Park
  • Call Transfer
  • Search Address Book Contacts Ability

Polycom also announced that in March, there will be a software extension for Polycom®RealPresence® Platform. This extension will enable Lync 2013 interoperability with Polycom content sharing and video collaboration solutions.
