Polycom Enhancing Communication and Collaboration of 74% of Forbes Asia Fab 50 Companies

Forbes Asia Fab 50 Listing was published and 74% of those companies are Polycom customers. This says a lot about the advantage of video collaboration in the company’s productivity.

Forbes Asia released their Fab 50 companies, which are considered the topnotch in their respective industries. And among the Forbes Asia Fab 50 companies, 74% of the companies in the list makes use of Polycom in their collaboration and connection efforts. In fact, it is claimed that Polycom is one of the reasons for these companies were able to increase their presence in their own industries.

In the 2012 list, 70% of the Forbes Asia Fab 50 are composed of Polycom customers. In the recent 2013 list, the number of the Unified Communications and Collaboration expert’s customers increased by 4%.

Published in the month of August of 2013, the Forbes Asia Fab 50 analyzed around 1,220 companies, which have at least a market capitalization or revenue value of $3 billion. And from that pool of more than a thousand of companies, Forbes Asia chose the top 50 companies. The listing is represented by companies from diverse industry combinations and regional spread of businesses. There are 22 new companies in this year’s list and besides the 11 Indian and 20 Chinese companies, other countries features in the listing are the following:

  • Australia
  • Hong Kong
  • Indonesia
  • Malaysia
  • Philippines
  • Singapore
  • South Korea
  • Taiwan
  • Thailand

In the recent results, 11 of those companies are from the Asia Pacific companies and 37 out of those 50 companies are Polycom customers, which increased by 2 companies since the previous results. The increase of the number of Polycom customers in the Forbes Asia Fab 50 listing is said to be a reflection of the increase of use of video and voice collaboration solutions in the business domain. This is also the proof that the analysis conducted by Polycom and Wainhouse Research is truer than ever. With the results showing 94% of video collaboration users saying it increases productivity, it is not surprising to conclude that video collaboration solutions is an enterprise productivity tool.
