SAMSUNG Receives a Total of 36 Consumer Electronics Show Innovation Awards

SAMSUNG received several Consumer Electronics Show 2015 Innovations Awards, including:

• 2 Best of Innovation
• 4 Eco-Design awards

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. is a frontrunner company in terms of its innovative efforts in several sectors, which include:

• Consumer electronics
• Semiconductors
• Telecommunications

This is the reason why it isn’t surprising that SAMSUNG was able to garner a total of 36 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2015 Innovation Awards today, 12 awards more than what the company got last year. Considered as the largest consumer technology tradeshow of the world, the Consumer Electronics Show or CES is held every year promoting consumer technology businesses and recognizing products that possess excellent engineering and design. Since year 1976, Consumer Electronics Association® (CEA) has been facilitating the event the keeping the tradition year after year.

Products are able to win when they are entered in the CES Innovation program. In the program, the products are judged by a panel of judges, including”

• Independent industrial designers
• Members of the media

The panel will decide if the products are worthy to be honored and have cutting-edge technology across the 29 categories considered in the program. They will evaluate the products based on:

• Aesthetic and design qualities
• Engineering
• How the design and innovation of the product directly compares to other products in the marketplace
• Intended use/function and user value
• Unique/novel features present
