Samsung also announced the Enterprise Device Program or EDP. This program is a focused design program that emphasizes in boosting business confidence when it comes to their purchase decisions in device security and availability.  

The Enterprise Device Program from Samsung has two major components, including the following:

• Monthly Security Updates. Securing Samsung commitments to more than 100 countries, the company distributes monthly Samsung Galaxy devices with Android security updates, including Android core and Samsung specific security patches.
• Two-year Device Purchase Program. Samsung now offers a 2-year purchase assurance program starting with Galaxy S7, offering customers the ability to buy the same device model maximum of 2 years.
