Samsung Electronics Supports Military Services Members and Veterans: $500,000 Donation to Fisher House Foundation

After Samsung donated 1 million dollars to the Korean War Veterans Memorial Foundation’s Maintenance Fund, the company announced $500,000 to Fisher House Foundation. Samsung’s donation is said to build four homes for the service members and veterans.

Together with Fisher House Foundation’s 25th Year, Samsung Electronics, in an effort to show its support to military service veterans and members, donated half million dollars to the Fisher House’s program.

The Fisher House’s program is an initiative meant to support service members and veterans by providing them with their respective homes away from their original homes. And Samsung’s donation is expected to provide four new homes for these veterans. The company is said so provide modern electronics, televisions, and appliances to these homes. This donation was announced after the company donated a million dollars to the Maintenance Fund of the Korean War Veterans Memorial Foundation, which was given in Washington D.C. Three of these homes will be built in these locations:

  • Palo Alto, California
  • Ft. Hood, Texas
  • Omaha, Nebraska

The fourth location will be announced later.
