Samsung Opens New U.S. Semiconductor Operations Headquarters in Silicon Valley

Improving their presence in Silicon Valley, Samsung opened up a new headquarters for their semiconductor operations in San Jose’s tech corridor. For more from Samsung, visit our store. 

Samsung situated its new headquarters on the same corner as the company’s original campus, which was built over 3 decades ago. This structure symbolises Samsung’s top-notch growth in the industry and well-known innovation efforts. And it cannot be denied that these efforts have been Samsung Electronics’ investment and foundation in its current success.

With the new headquarters, Samsung’s research and development will now even be more concentrated and substantially strengthened.

The grand opening of the site was headed by Samsung Electronics CEO Oh-Hyun Kwon together with over 800 people in the audience. Some of the dignitaries who attended the grand opening were the following:

• State Senator Bob Wieckowski
• Susan Martin, San Jose State University President
