Samsung finally kicked of the fourth Annual Samsung Mobile App Academy! More is to be expected from the 11th and 12th graders to participate in the event. 

In an effort to improve the industry through educating the youth and providing them the path towards new opportunities, Samsung has kicked off the company’s fourth Annual Samsung Mobile App Academy, a summer coding program offered to rising 11th and 12th grade students. Over 1,100 students submitted their applications for the program and from there, 60 students all in all were chosen to attend six different academy locations, held at premier Engineering universities in the country. Besides offering the necessary curriculum and technology for app development to students, Samsung also offers the chance to be one of the students to receive scholarship. The company offers a total of $35,000 worth of scholarships and the chance to learn more about application development.
