SAMSUNG Electronics America and Gfk Survey Discovers New Facts on Use of Technology in Classrooms

SAMSUNG Electronics America collaborates with Gfk KnowledgePanel in its research on the use of technology in classrooms. Find out what majority of the K-12 teachers had to say about technology inside the classrooms for educational use.
It cannot be denied that technology is rapidly improving, even in the field of education. But whether the integration of these advanced technologies are excellent is a different matter. This was the result of the research made by SAMSUNG Electronics America and Gfk.

A survey including 1,008 K-12 teachers have been surveyed between February 12, 2015 and Match 2, 2015, by the Gfk KnowledgePanel.
The findings were the following:
- 90%: Believes that technology in the classroom plays a role in a student’s success
- 60%: Feels that they are inadequately prepared to use technology in classrooms
- 81%: Agrees that technology in the classroom opens more opportunity for students to have more hands-on experience during lessons
