This helps for better voice pickup. Konftel Smart Microphone is compatible with Konftel 800 IP Conference Phone and Konftel C50800 Hybrid - Video Conferencing Kit. A single Konftel 800 can support up to two Konftel Smart Microphones. Connect one or two expansion microphones depending on the size of the conference room. Smart Microphone has 6 meters (19.69 feet) pick-up range and the accompanying connecting cable is 3 meters long (9.84 feet). This Smart Microphone has an Omni-directional Polar Pattern which picks up sound in a 360-degree radius. The Konftel Smart Microphone features built-in echo cancellation and background noise reduction through OmniSound® audio technology. Aside from that, Konftel Smart Microphone has a Mute Key which mutes all mics that are connected to the Konftel system.

Established in the year 1988, Konftel was created by Peter Renkel and John-Erik Eriksson. Peter Renkel is currently the CEO of the company while John-Erik Eriksson is the Acoustic Designer.
