Avaya IP500 Office Server 30 additional Handset Expansion Module

The Avaya IP Office 500 - Phone30 Expansion Module (Part number: 700426224) supports 30 analog telephones / 30 Plain Ordinary TelephonePOT” ports for use with analog telephones - each analog port can support a device of maximum 1 REN) and connects via one of the Expansion Module connections on the rear of the IP500 or IP412 chassis, or into an Expansion Module port on the 4-port base card of the IP500 chassis

*compatible with IP403, IP406 V1, IP406 V2, and IP412 control units, IP500 control unit running Professional Edition / IP500 running R4.2 or earlier / IP500 running R5.0 or higher Professional Edition is required and IP500 V2 running R6.0 or higher (supported by IP Office core software level 2.1(36) minimum)

*IP Office Phone Modules provide support for a variety of analog Message Waiting Indication (MWI) methods. These methods are 51V Stepped, 81V, 101V (only supported when using a Phone V2 expansion module) and Line Reversal.

Note: On analog ports, call information is sent while the phone is ringing, and cannot be updated during a call or set on an outbound call (the phone may do a local match but this is not controlled by the IP Office - an analog extension port can be set for external Paging operation). The Port will always be busy so it cannot be called directly and can only be accessed by using a shortcode (with primary purpose of displays is to give information about incoming calls). When not receiving a Page the port will remain silent or when being paged the page tone is sent before the speech path is opened (with Caller Display standard chosen supports the delivery of text “extension name” as well as the number, both are delivered). It does not operate like a normal extension and is connected to external equipment through an isolation device.
