The Avaya G450 Power Supply (700459498) is a spare, replacement, or redundant power supply unit (PSU) which is designed specifically for Avaya G450 Media Gateway. This can be used as a single power supply unit which provides sufficient power for any G450 configuration. To operate in a load sharing mode, you may install two power supply units.

The Avaya G450 Power Supply supports hot swap of the PSU units. There is no need to power down or reset the G450 when replacing a faulty PSU, even if you have only one PSU installed. The replacement PSU can be installed in the second PWR slot. It will become the active PSU once you remove the faulty PSU.
