The Computer Calling Kit enables a SoundStation2 or SoundStation2W to connect to a computer through the 2.5mm Applications Port built into the conference phone. This allows productive conference calls to be made over the Internet with phone services such as Skype, MSN Messenger, and Yahoo! Messenger, as well as with computer-based softphone clients. It also enables the phones to work with the Polycom PVX desktop video conferencing application, serving as the microphone and speaker for desktop video calls
